Privacy information
Understand how YAH for Schools works without accounts or tracking, how downloads behave and what ordinary hosting logs can contain.
This page explains the behaviour of the YAH for Schools website and its downloadable resources. It describes the application supplied for this edition, prepared on 3 November 2026.
Reading and downloading
You can read the site and download its classroom PDFs without an account. The application has no pupil profiles, comments, uploads, contact forms, advertising tags or optional analytics. It does not set application session cookies, use local storage to track visitors or score a reader's beliefs. Fonts, styles and graphic assets are served locally rather than loaded from an external advertising or font service.
Downloading or printing a worksheet does not send completed answers back to this website. The PDF resources have no submission mechanism or embedded tracking. A teacher or school decides how to handle copies completed in class; keep pupil work within the school's normal arrangements.
Ordinary website requests and logs
Your browser must send information needed to request a page or file. This can include an IP address, the requested URL, time, browser information and a referring page. The hosting platform may record access and security logs. Application errors may also be logged to help diagnose failures. The absence of forms does not mean that no technical data passes through the hosting service.
Access-log settings, infrastructure security services and retention periods are controlled by the actual hosting arrangement. This page does not invent a fixed retention period or claim to have audited a hosting account that was not available during preparation. The application does not use those requests to build marketing profiles.
Links to other websites
Source links take you to independent websites, which have their own privacy practices. A source is loaded only when you follow its link; the resource pages do not embed third-party video players or social widgets. The site uses a restrictive referrer policy: an external site normally receives the origin, rather than the full page path, when a link is followed.
Contact and correspondence
See the contact page for the current contact arrangements. There is no on-site message submission or pupil-data collection service. Do not send children's names, completed pupil worksheets, health details, personal belief information or confidential school records when raising an issue through any external contact route.
A message sent through an external email or website service is also subject to that provider's arrangements. YAH for Schools does not represent an outside registry or contact service as part of its own application.
Questions and changes
The contact information explains what is currently available for questions. For general information about data protection and raising a concern, consult the Information Commissioner's Office.
This explanation should be updated if the application adds a service that changes how information is handled. The site currently provides read-only educational content and downloads; it has no subscription, checkout or account database.
